ACET currently has an experienced trainer delivering
bespoke HIV training for professionals, staff in schools, childcare
settings, the prison and workplace.
Rosemary Ruddy

Rosemary Ruddy is an education and training specialist with 20
years experience of delivering HIV/AIDS prevention and training
programmes. Prior to joining ACET Jersey as Executive Director in
1994, she was a founding member and volunteer for an
interdenominational charity, which was established in 1986 to
provide a Christian response to HIV/AIDS in Jersey.
Before coming to Jersey in 1981, Rosemary worked in education
for 8 years in the London where she was Deputy Principal Careers
Officer for the London Borough of Newham.
As a trustee of ACET Jersey, Rosemary helps deliver
HIV education and prevention programmes for young people,
professionals and employees in the workplace. She also provides
targeted HIV prevention programmes for minority groups on the
margins of our community. Rosemary trains workers, teachers and
other professionals and has written A Parent's Toolkit, which is a practical
resource that helps parents talk to their children about sex and
relationships.
Rosemary has an honours BA degree in Psychology from the
University of Liverpool and postgraduate certificates in Vocational
Counselling, Managing Voluntary and Non-profit Enterprises and
Fundraising. She is a Member of the Institute of Fundraising and a
Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.
