Condom Distribution Scheme

Jersey's Condom Distribution Scheme (JCDS) enables anyone who has registered for a 'C-card' to access supplies of free condoms from three clinics in the town area.

How to Register

All new users can register at the GUM Clinic and Family Planning Centre. Anyone under 21 can also register at Jersey Brook. Registration is confidential and takes about 20 minutes.  New users will be given a condom demonstration and asked to provide their age, sexuality, parish and nationality for monitoring purposes. There are no age limits associated with the scheme, although anyone wishing to register or collect condoms from Jersey Brook must be under 21.

Everyone registering will be issued with a personal 'C-card' which they will need to present each time they go to collect condoms. The C-card is the same size as a credit card and entitles the user to return 12 times to collect supplies of condoms before they need to register again.  C-Card holders may visit any of the participating clinics and do not have to return to collect condoms from the clinic they originally registered with.
