Assemblies, workshops and enrichment
In addition to education about risk and prevention, ACET’s HIV Educator is also available to lead assemblies and participate in enrichment programmes and workshops which engage students in any of the moral, social or political challenges associated with HIV.
Topics may include:
- HIV stigma and discrimination
- Children and HIV and AIDS
- Women and HIV and AIDS
- AIDS orphans
- Injecting drugs, drug users and HIV and AIDS
- AIDS and prostitution
- Funding for the HIV/AIDS pandemic
- The global pandemic
- History of AIDS
