Sponsors and Partners
HIV/AIDS is not a disease that will be quickly or easily eradicated, but one that will continue to present us with considerable financial, logistical and educational challenges for decades to come.
This is why we believe that building partnerships with business, school, community and faith groups is the best way to ensure that the facts about HIV/AIDS are communicated clearly and appropriately to everyone in Jersey. Many of our partners in the community are also financial sponsors who are involved in funding one or more areas of ACET’s work.

Standard Chartered (Jersey) Limited
Since 2004 we have been working with Standard Chartered Bank to raise awareness of HIV in Jersey and develop educational resources to support our prevention programmes for young people. Standard Chartered HIV Champions also work with ACET trainers to deliver training about HIV for local business.
Standard Chartered is a founding member of the Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS. Through their community investment programme, Living with HIV, all of their 44,000 plus staff in more than 50 countries will receive HIV/AIDS awareness education. Standard Chartered are also establishing partnerships with local community organisations across the world, of which ACET Jersey is proud to be one.
Freedom Church Jersey
Dr John Stewart-Jones, one of the leaders of the Jersey Community Church, was a founder member of ACET Jersey. The church provides regular financial support for ACET’s HIV care and prevention programmes in Jersey.
Parish Church of St Ouen
We are very grateful for the faithful support of members of the Parish Church of St Ouen who have been providing regular prayer and financial support for ACET’s work for more than 14 years.
Jersey Employment Trust
ACET are delighted to work in partnership with the Jersey Employment Trust to ensure that people living with HIV have the same access to confidential support and services to support them in the workplace as people with other chronic health conditions.
HMP La Moye
ACET has a close working relationship with Healthcare at La Moye, which ensures that prisoners living with HIV receive continuous psychosocial support during their time at the prison.
A new Service Level Agreement is currently being developed, which will facilitate the development of a whole prison approach to Tackling Blood-borne Viruses at the prison from 2009 onwards.
Jersey HIV Business Forum
ACET works with the Jersey HIV Business Forum which was established by Standard Chartered Bank in 2007 to support local organisations that recognise the strategic part they have to play in HIV awareness and prevention
Lloyds-TSB Foundation for the Channel Islands
ACET is grateful for the significant financial support they have received from the Lloyds-TSB Foundation for the Channel Islands who provided initial start-up funding in 1994, and have continued to provide grants for new projects over the past 14 years.
